Travis\’ last movie – the one about the different points of view in Mexico with the President being killed or something, Dennis Quad was in it (I can\’t be bothered to look it up) – was crap. Mayhaps this is a good thing.

No offence to Mr Garland, I\’m sure his mother loves him, but his screenplay was crap. It was leaked onto the net, should be still online. It read as Die Hard meets Robocop 2. That may sound cool on paper but it\’s not the way to do a Judge Dredd film. It was so lacking imagination.

The guy is total hack . John Wagner – creator and long term Dredd writer – should have written the screenplay.

As Judge Dredd, Karl Urban should be a hardcore badass like Liam Neeson in Taken.

Karl Urban must say the following lines in Dredd: 
“I am the law!” 
“I knew you’d say that.” (in five scenes) 
“I knew they’d do that.” 
“Full auto. Rapid-fire.” 
“Armour piercing” 
“Double whammy.” 
“Signal flare!”
