I read that CLEO was budgeted at $30 million, which seems to be considered low-budget by studios these days. Hopefully as long as Soderbergh can keep the budget down, he won't have problems.

Thanks. As someone who juggles more than a few dozen things (and it's getting worse), that means a ton, sincerely.

I mean, I'd like to see it happen too, Zaillian's draft is great*, but if feels like it might be damaged goods at this point.

*as pointed out by the NYTimes, it might have taken too much creative license and therefore not approved by MLB, which means, they can't even go back to it?

Though i heard there was more drafts written then the Dec '08 one everyone has read so perhaps they could revert back to one of those. Whow knows.

I have to commend you. Your coverage of this whole Moneyball fiasco has been the best on the web, Anyway, as a baseball nerd, I would love to see it get made. It has potential to be a groundbreaking film (players playing themselves, animated characters, etc.).
