By making such a comment, you put yourself into that category. Iger didn\’t say that they have decided to never make an R-rated Marvel movie. He simply said that they don\’t have any plans to do so… that they aren\’t immediately trying to jump onto the Deadpool bandwagon by reworking existing plans to include an R version [ala the upcoming BvS or, several years back, Live Free or Die Hard] nor wedge one into their production schedule at this very moment. In fact, did Iger say anything that would preclude them from eventually releasing an R-rated Marvel flick? Not that I can tell. I can only say that I am glad that Iger did not have the same knee-jerk reaction that you apparently would have had, were you in his position.
