Obviously the DGA missed out on PTA and plenty of others, but I didn't exactly expect him to be nominated so it's no big surprise. Also, Hooper's direction on "Les Miz" is kind of awful.

Man, David O. Russell is going to be pissed. I expect him to have another brutal meltdown. Right now, I would hate to be Russell's agent. I still don't understand the love for Silver Linings Playbook- it is only okay.

I really thought PTA was getting a nom from the DGA. Guess now an Oscar for directing or picture ain't happening.

My prediction is Lincoln will be the big winner come oscar night.
