I mean huge die hard fan and i think that mc clanes humor was a big part of why people enjoyed the movies. He was a regular guy with a sense of humor, his one liners and catch phrases may have been cheesy but thats what made his character. I enjoyed Live Free or Die Hard, but to be totally honest i really missed the swearing and bloody violence from the first 3 movies. They hid the signature catch phrase with a gun shot for christ sake. I am not complaining about the new directors view or idea i just hope the film feels like a die hard movie at heart and not a crappy new age action movie with shitty cgi action sequences and watered down profanity… Cheers guys!

That shouldn't be hard to do, considering this is the first of five to take place anywhere but the United States. Sure, two of the previous films featured German bad guys, so you can call that "international" if you want.

By the way, what is wrong with making a serious film instead of trying to infuse '80s style "humor" (i.e. bad one-liners and cheesy set pieces)? A movie can still be exciting and action-packed without pandering to audiences that just want fluff. For that, there are the "Transformer" flicks.
