It was very good however – as a sarcastic teen horror comedy. Cody's dialogue and way of developing and organizing character and arc was great. Even Jennifer's demon reminded me a bit of Pennywise. The animals in the forest. "The twisted tree". The "kicker". And black spiky vomit… Come on. If it were pure horror… it would have been horrible. F'in with genre was in one word BRILLIANT! And as I always say for these types of films MAKE A BETTER MOVIE IF YOU THINK OTHERWISE. It was based on a shitty kids paperback. As far as the rest of TIFF goes… some worthwhile films LEAVES OF GRASS, DOWN WITH LIFE, UP IN THE AIR. Not much else in the catalog.

PRECIOUS was one of those films where I wonder why people always seem to feel the need to screw their minds and cry f'in buckets. Come on … fat girl gets daddy banged, ends up pregnant…. twice. Abused in every way. Winds up with Aids. F ME! And they made this into a film. Wins people's choice. See what I mean. Good ain't good anymore honey. Good now equates to contrived and overbearing. Doesn't matter how you spin it.
