This really NEEDS to happen. I was such a huge fan of everything Sweet Valley growing up, and when I had first heard about the TV show coming out, I was beyond excited. I thought they would make it more of a 90210 or Melrose Place type show. Instead, they made a mockery of it by turning it onto a Saturday morning joke. If done right, it could have, and still can, become something worth watching.

For women, such as myself, who were preteen girls in 1983, the Sweet Valley High series was everything that a girl could want in a book. SVH was very important to me at that time, and I have fond memories of reading the books.
