Owning a 3.9 million property from the sales u made in 6 years makes one a king of hollywood screenwriters? It\’s seriously sad if you really believe so. If you\’re the shit then what\’s William Goldman then? Or even Frank Darabont? Writing films that people forget about as soon as they leave the theatre makes you KING of screenwriters?? LMAO

i\’m glad you made yourself a millionaire by writing. Heck i\’m glad for ANY writer who become a millionaire just by writing. God knows how hard it is.

But all this king shit glorification is just laughable and a little pathetic.

Back to the topic of Diablo Cody. I don\’t think she deserves such derision. Yes she can be overenthusiastic shameless self-promoter at times. And her work makes you either love it or hate it. But she has a distinctive voice and she CAN write. You might not like her materials or think she deserves all the attention she\’s getting. But she\’s got enough fans to disregard your opinions. And some of those fans happen to be the ones who greenlight productions and Oscar-nominated directors. When the business thinks you\’re hot, you capitalize on it. Anyone would. Even Allan Loeb.

when it comes to movies, writing, music – people have reactions to it. It\’s not \”unfair\” to criticize Diablo Cody if you don\’t like her schtick. It\’s not unfair to criticize a NICOLAS WINDING REFN film either.

It\’s also not unfair to lavishly praise them either if you really like them.

Juno was a huge hit and part of pop culture – if there is a movie making fun of pop culture, then it has the right to make fun of it if it wants to.
