I can only answer that personally and not on behalf of anyone else, but because they're made for children or man, men-children. Same thing with Michael Bay, though i can still enjoy the ridiculousness of his work occasionally or in spots.

Actionman, you're kind funny. you love all the testosterone shit we mostly hate. Or at least, i surely do. but if you like Scott, you'll probably love this one as its his most coherent in a while. I credit the screenwriter.
