Fast 7 starts filming mid-September. It's safe to assume he'll be about done in time to do Fast 7. Also, I think Michelle Rodriguez stated in an interview that the Fast films adjust their schedules to accommodate their actors.

Anyway, I think Laurence Fishburne should be the one to take the role Denzel was asked to take.
