I don\’t think Ray will have a particularly tough time convincing the audience of the possibility of corruption in American politics. Why are people complaining about a solid actor and director teaming up to do a smart dramatic thriller for adults? That\’s a rarity to be cheered. Yes, many of us saw and enjoyed the original. That doesn\’t mean it didn\’t have substantial room for improvement, and I\’m certainly not offended by the idea of the story reaching a wider audience.
