Has it really been confirmed Wild Things was a $150 million budget? I was thinking something like half that.

I'm not sure if your 3 favorite directors in the whole world could do it. Jonze spent north of $150 million on Wild Things and who know how much they spent extra when they delayed the film an entire year for more effects and more post-production.

Just throwing this out there, but is it even "possible" to make a Superman movie for less than $150 million plus ridiculous advertising costs? Even the movies for the B-level DC characters will end up costing over $100 million. The numbers get absolutely ridiculous for comic/graphic novel adaptations.

There can't be that many fans of the comic books to make these less risky than new ideas.

Isn't this take three on "Flash"? David Goyer was developing the Ryan Reynolds version, and last year David Dobkin was the new guy brought in.

Also, I have to say, it's dumb that the WB is saying, "There's no money in Superman- let's do another Constantine!"
