He\’s a very talented filmmaker who has yet to work in the crime genre. He might be an unconventional choice for that type of film but so was Mike Newell when he made Donnie Brasco and that movie is a genre classic.

The Doc, while a bit rushed is chock full of great characters and anecdotes and would be prime fodder or a long running series. I hope they go this route, personally.
