There has only ever been one horror remake in history that hasn't sucked money balls, and that was John Carpenter's The Thing. (And please don't bring up Zach Snyder's Dawn of the Dead. His version was an action movie, not a horror movie.) Halloween remake sucked. Friday the 13th, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Hitcher, Amityville Horror, Sorority Row, Hills Have Eyes. Every one a steaming cesspool of suck. Do we see a pattern here. Sorry, DGG, the odds are against you. Stick with your own original projects.
