I think the controversy should be over how this movie or her performance got any recognition at all. I loved previous Aronofsky movies but this one was atrocious.

She basically just whimpered, cried, acting like a 7-year old and gave the classic \”overacting\” oscar baiting performance, a la Halle Berry in \”Monster\’s Ball.\” I think the movie and her performance especially are going to are very poorly.
