I was going to include “Please Read The Letter” on a forthcoming Director’s soundtrack mix and had no clue this was the single and an extremely popular album. I just found it on my own a few months ago and was very surprised at how good it was.

Now I can understand not having Phil (the drummer) play, as I think you’ll see they had enough percussion to cover it, but no Colin on bass?? And the bassline for that song is so sick 🙁

Made everything else look like cheese. Too bad they didn’t take Album for the Year having to settle for Alternative Album of the Year…ooooook. I won’t complain too loud, as “In Rainbows” isn’t nearly my favorite album of theirs, but it’s loads better than Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida.”

I am happy for “Raising Sand” pulling off all their victories though. That album is as smooth as smooth can be, with ‘Killing the Blues’ being my favorite cut. Expect a sequel for sure.
