In reply to Fahrvergnugen. I guess it would be a little bit of a logic error, not a continuity error. If bond is using a gun that has a fingerprint scanner. Why the hell would he be wearing gloves that would stop him from using it if he had to.

I don’t buy it… unless someone shows me a picture from the scene where Craig is wearing gloves.

This seems kind of unlikely. First of all, Bond wearing gloves inside a nightclub/casino and handling drinks and money with them — and putting his hands in his pockets — sounds a little silly. Second, he doesn’t use or even reach for his gun anywhere in this scene, so where would the continuity error come in?

Um, no…Kevin Jagernauth didn’t listen to the story correctly. The producers estimated it would have cost millions of dollars/pounds to RESHOOT the scene with Craig not wearing the gloves along with the other actor, the location cost, renting the komodo dragons again, etc. By digitally placing Daniel Craig’s skin over the gloves in post – they were able to pay a helluva lot less.

“I heard a story from a guy who said he worked on the set of Skyfall” – that’s reliable. I’m sure nobody in production realized that Craig’s sudden glove fettish would get in the way of the only thing that saves Bond’s life in this scene? Okay.
