Loved the series. Loved the finale. It all worked because we (the viewer) only knew as much as the characters knew. If they were unsure, we were unsure.

It is a microcosm of life. There are things we remember, things that change us, things that irk us.

But in the end, no matter how chaotic or hard to justify, life is the stories we have to tell and the memories of those we loved and those who loved us.

That is life. That is what The Leftovers captured.
