The last movie to pimp itself as \”the Next Star Wars\” was Green Lantern. I expect John Carter to meet a similar fate. As for Taylor Kitsch, he is the next Colin Farrell.

John Carter has the ability to be the next Avatar or Star Wars. Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo, WallE) has proven he has vision and Taylor Kitsch is an Amazing Actor finally getting his due. Just see Bang Bang Club or FNL. He is also currently filming Oliver Stone\’s next film. John Carter should please the fans of Disney and E R Burroughs.

John Carter has two big problems:

1) Star Wars and Avatar nicked all the cool stuff from the original stories.

2) Taylor Kitsch.

My prediction: BOMB on the level of Cowboys and Aliens.

Taylor Kitsch is the next Colin Farrell. Enough said.

I am dying to see Frankenweenie. Loved the short. Love Tim Burton.

Timothy Green looks like a big ball of sappiness. Yet it has Jennifer Garner and I am sometimes amenable to small doses of sappiness. So, we shall see.

The whole Muppet nostalgia thing isn\’t working for me. Meh.

Have the two unnamed Marvel movies scheduled been revealed?

The bulk of the mockery for Timothy Green that I\’ve seen has been on here. I\’ve actually seen good responses to the film on other sites. I personally think the fact that Disney is putting out a high concept family drama that akins back to those technicolor family films of the early 60\’s is ballsy and awesome.
