In comparison to flicks like Videodrome and Dead Ringers, History of Violence and Eastern Promises are the work of a bland journeyman, and the fact that he&#039;s jumped from a mainstream Cruise thriller to what is basically a paycheck remake seemes to suggest that is exactly what he&#039;s becoming.]]></description>
