Wow, Homicide getting a Criterion is great, it's one of my favourite movies. Fantastic acting by Mantegna (especially the final scene).

When Criterion sends out press releases to film critics, there are blurbs on the covers, but then when the real editions come out they are blurb free. Dunno why that is, but it's the way it is.

Sometimes the artwork does change from the first press release they send out, to the time it hits release.

Are we sure that's the Monsoon Wedding art? I can't think of any Criterions that have critic blurbs on the cover…

Actually Criterion bought the rights of 3 Wenders films, the aforementioned "Wings of Desire", the late 70's road movie "Alice in the Cities" and the great "Paris, Texas", so we can expected the release of the later two in the near future.
