I'm sure they won't, but after Swanberg showing up in the extras for "My Dinner with Andre" and doing one of those top ten lists they send out with their newsletter, I'm upset they even have his phone number. (Oh and shockingly, in the top ten, he says he hasn't seen many criterions...or movies of any kind I would assume)

LOL. I'm sure that name does not pass through their lips, I wouldn't worry. This is for prestige picks only. Expect something like 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days to get announced as well.

Pretty good news all around, but I hope Criterion will pick up some of IFC's title's that they've neglected. Christophe Honore's work has been harder to see with each film since "Dans Paris" (which is definitely deserving of a Criterion DVD and rediscovery), not mention Phillipe Garrel's great "Frontier of Dawn," along with "Medicine for Melancholy," "Three Times" (which has an atrocious and insulting transfer on DVD), and quite a few more films that have been shackled in the ghetto of VOD and unconverted PAL to NTSC transfers.

However if one Joe Swanberg movie comes out on Criterion I'll burn down their offices.
