Ti West has been winning over horror fans with his films that borrow from the classic entries in the genre of the past, while pushing the envelope forward at the same time. And for many, his latest effort "The Innkeepers" found him at the peak of his powers. Making waves on the festival circuit in 2011, before rolling into theaters this year, if you haven't had a chance to see the film yet — or if you're a fan — we've got some great prizes for some lucky readers.
But first, a recap. Starring Sara Paxton, Pat Healy and Kelly McGillis the film is set in The Yankee Pedlar Inn, a one hundred year old hotel that is shutting its doors for good. The last remaining employees — Claire (Paxton) and Luke (Healy) — are determined to uncover proof of what many believe to be one of New England's most haunted hotels. As the Inn’s final days draw near, odd guests check in as the pair of minimum wage “ghost hunters” begin to experience strange and alarming events that may ultimately cause them to be mere footnotes in the hotel’s long unexplained history.
"The Innkeepers" arrives on DVD and BluRay this week. However, in addition, there is a limited edition (400 copies) gatefold style package for the BluRay that will be available as well. We have 2 copies to give away, and best of all, they're signed by Ti West. We also have a great runner-up prizes as well, including 1 copy of the retro Dude Designs poster (signed by West, Paxton and Healy) and 5 copies of the movie on DVD. Check out pictures of the prizes below.
So how can you win? Email us your full name and address along with the title of Ti West's webseries and the name of your top three horror movie hotels (and which movie they were in). Good luck! Update: Contest closed, winners will be contacted via email.
Contest open to residents of the U.S. only. Ti West’s "The Innkeepers" will be available on Blu-ray & DVD on April 24th from Dark Sky Films.
