Not sure what real relevance Schubert has to the story in the film? Is the fact that the director's mum used to play it on the piano a good enough reason to make such extensive use of a great existing piece? It is beautiful but it's part of an incredible sonata or three movements not just one that belong to a very different context in my humble opinion
