Regardless of all the pointless chatter about whether Nolan is "underrated or overrated", he will always get my utmost respect for standing by film above all else.

As for 3D – the highest grossing film of the year, The Hunger Games, isn't playing in 3D anywhere on Earth.

Thank god for no 3D. Even Joss Whedon had to go 3D for The Avengers and all those who have already seen it say it's a waste of time and to just watch it in 2D. I can't understand why studios keep pushing this 3D gimmick. I will never willingly watch any film in 3D. Fuck you studios!
