Bit of a slight to Cameron to simply say he took his \”Titanic\” earnings and spent a decade diving. I can\’t speak too knowledgably but my understanding is he spent much of those dives creating, building and testing new cameras which have broad applications in marine science and then went on to create new 3D technologies in the development of Avatar.

I remember going to a showing of \”Singing Detective.\” Not a screening, a I-paid-ten-bucks-for-this matinee show, when Robert Downey Jr. appeared and personally thanked the audience (which wasn\’t exactly sold out) for coming. Pretty rad.
