Lincoln sucked balls, too, apart from the at times hammy performance by Day-Lewis and the great turn by Spader.

totally disagree on his opinion of Scorsese, though. a film doesn't have to be sophisticated or "important" to be a rollicking good film. i'd actually take Doyle to task at the film not being important. the pitfalls of wall street hedonism is as culturally relevant today as it was a decade or three ago.
