I’ve always liked Christian Bale and as fun as this was to poke fun at, it’s a pretty good mea culpa. Does that excuse it? Nope and he’s not asking you to. Is he a total fucking jerk? Very possible. I generally separate btwn the art and the person as everyone should do.

Stephin Merrit is a total dick, but that doesn’t mean i don’t like the Magnetic Fields. I interviewed members of Evanescence once – they’re the worst, but such nice people. Always separate.
