Well, I like these performers. Blunt\’s character is supposed to be a rather plump alcoholic and so I take it Hollywood is going to make her prettier than she\’s described in the book (not that I\’m surprised).
Honestly, though, this book was pretty awful. The quality of the writing was poor and the only suspense it managed to generate was through an unreliable narrator and the author\’s decision to illogically hide certain relevant details. I rolled my eyes when I heard they were filming this, but with this talent, perhaps they can make something out of this story.
