Ok, to be clear: this is Unoversal, NOT DISNEY. They wanted to do the movie to the actual story where, yes, she DIES in the end. Disney can have it\’s fun loving version and hopefully that stays just as an animated film, but it would be great to see the actual story in live action. Just really hoping they don\’t give it a \’happy ending", because that\’s NOT what this story is about.

Im actually disappointed ive been in love with ariel and the little mermaid since i can remember i was so excited to see they have plans for a movie.. but id like to see a fresh face. Don\’t know how excited i am now. Shes no ariel.
