This is perfection. Lucille Ball had a rather prickly, salty.personality personality off-screen, and Blanchett has that deep voice.

Something about this sound off. Aaron Sorkin is hardly your first call when ordering up a vanity project script centered on a strong female protagonist. If this was about mouthy, caffeinated bro\’s, you call Sorkin.

Also, there isn\’t a movie without a director. That this got leaked before an A-list director was attached suggests that this has already started going out to the second string because, despite the shiny names attached on the top sheet, the project doesn\’t work well enough to snag an a-lister on first read.

On that second string, this sounds like something perfect for Rob Marshall, whose heightened aesthetic and sensibilities would mesh well with Sorkin\’s too-clever-by-half chatter.

I think she is perfect for this role!! Danny Pino from law and order svu played Desi once before and he was spot on!! I think he would be perfect!!
