Who says great cinema requires subtlety?

And as for you\'re headaches: quit being a wimp, grow a mustache and harden the fuck up.

Kev, why does The Playlist consider The Great Gatsby, one of the most anticipated films of next year. Baz Luhrmann is a over-the-top hack that truly needs to be stopped. All his films give me a headache. Baz doesn\'t believe in subtlety.

HA ! HA! McRaj, you are funny. Directing well-regarded classics, like The Great Gatsby & Romeo & Juliet- subtlety is definitely needed. Because of Baz\'s excessive directing style , it took me out of his movie version of Romeo & Juliet. Always directing with a sledgehammer style is not always appropriate, sadly that is all Luhrmann is capable of doing . Trust me, if I had to choose a director to direct a over-the-top film adaptation of The Great Gatsby, Michael Bay would be more suitable for the job than Luhrmann.
