Naysayers.

You might just be surprised. If it is a good story with good actors, even if this director just turns his actors loose and takes refuge in the tech, it should shine through.

If he takes it on, it might just be for reason that he wants relief from what must be becoming a treadmill and to challenge himself again.

In that case you might just end up with something special because it will be more than just by the numbers.

Fuck that, I\’m intrigued. I\’d love to see him try this kind of a story. The scenes in his movies where people actually talk to one another used to be pretty funny (Bad Boys, The Rock), but they\’ve grown completely retarded with the Transformers movies (probably because he needs to blow up half of God\’s green earth and that can get distracting).

Who knows how this could turn out – my money\’s on \”an interesting failure\”.

this is DOWNRIGHT SCARY. the mind reels when being told that Bay will do ANYTHING EXCEPT explosion-movies. he has NO IDEA how to direct actors or how to tell a multilayered story. simply put, he\’s the best guy at creating summer-movie eye-candy. please, please, please don\’t waste your time with a Fargo-esque black comedy bec it\’ll never work…
