If only there was cinephile-like news every day, no? then we wouldn't have to bother. If only there was a story about Whit Stillman everyday.

We feel your pain and maybe our frustration comes out in the writing. Plus while we are film snobs, we do like to write about lots of different things and we do have varied taste.

No one should be telling anyone to eat shit either, I agree, but we all lose our tempers. I pretty much had it with the Parnassus apostles last year and my ugly side came out. It happens.

I gotta ask, given your hyperbole about the costume (ever read ULTIMATES? – it's nearly identical), what exactly would you have them do? And don't give me that "something cool" bullshit. Tell us, specifically, what you'd have done with the costume of a patriotic 1940's-era superhero.

(It's easy to be a cynical smartass online – as it takes so much less effort than actual criticism and reporting – but this place is starting to look like CHUD. That's why I stopped visiting that site.)
