Thanks for a an accurate review of what has been my favourite film in the last few months. I agree with most of your comments but though I thought the film played a lot on American 60s nostalgia, it did come across as upbeat and funny thanks to the excellent cast and script. For fans of Wes Anderson (which I know you are), this was a mighty short review. Hell, your trailer breakdown article for the film was 5 times as long. So let me be the first to ask: How does it compare to other Wes films? At 94 minutes is it too short or does it at all feel slight or incomplete (as I would say The Darjeeling Limited did)? Any actual pop/rock songs in it, either diagetic or undiagetic? Speaking of that last shot, is it in slo mo like Wes usually always ends his films in? Any trademark slo mo shots set to music?
