Is Souleyman Deme revered for dancing because of his thin leg ? I saw him mostly doing shoulder shakes…his whole entire body didnt move.
Back to the movie : I liked it. I liked that despite being shorter, darker, and disabled, Mimi saw Grigris's good heart and caring soul and that was what attracted him to her.

The ending had me mad. Why not sell the car or strip it for $, Im sure the ladies needed it. Where are the men of that village ?
