For a website that's supposed to be about the film world, and reports its business, I'm shocked that you guys print this stuff without looking into it further.

Guess what? All of the rumors and hints that Siger has ALL of these projects in the pipeline- there's a reason for them.

Singer is near the end of his option. If he looks like he has all of this other stuff lined up, it makes the studio scared enough to greenlight is film of choice before the option runs out, at which point he moves to the next studio for project "B", or "C".

He's not only playing the studios when he does this stuff, but he plays all of you who line up to conjecture over his next move. Most of it is completely false, by the way.

But you lap it up and report it, and blow it up, which only guarantees his next paycheck by using your coverage as pressure.
