Why? Are you not happy unless you get lots of gore? Not every movie needs to be R, and Power Rangers absolutely falls in that category. There have been great movies made that were rated G, PG, and PG-13 (and R and NC-17 as well, of course): a rating doesn’t make a great movie. It’s the story and the way it’s told.

Of course, if you want to talk about how messed up the rating system is as a whole, well, that’s a different ballpark…

Who cares. Just another pg13 PC generation wuss/snowflake crap movie. I hate hollywood. The youtube adult version was awesome. This will be awful. And the dark night sucks. There i said it. It should have been rated R.

Seriously dealing with teen issues doesn’t necessarily mean it is automatically ‘gritty’-look at the comic book series by Boom Studios, which treats the characters seriously while still being bright, colorful and fun.
