I haven’t seen Bruno so I don’t know what exactly is there, but if Borat got an R (as it should have) and there were close ups of balls on Cohen’s chin, I don’t see what Bruno could have, other than actual sex, to get it an NC-17, other than the fact that Bruno’s gay, and the MPAA clearly is not a big fan of gay sexuality, comedic or otherwise, on screen.
