I\’m no fan of Max Landis, but if you think his Dad means anything in Hollywood anymore you are clueless. And even if he did, the idea that people are going to pay millions of dollars for a script not because they like it, but because the writer is the son of someone famous is absurd. Max Landis\’ success has more to do with good agenting than anything else. Bright and Deeper have A-list attachments.
