You know Pitt’s in the middle of a divorce and custody battle. On the Allied European press tour he said he was going to take a long vacation and not work for quite a while. So obviously their shooting schedule would not work for Pitt. it’s the same reason Angelina Jolie turned down Ridley Scott’s offer to star in his Getty kidnapping drama. Scott wanted to start shooting in May and she declined.
