Dont see this happening at all, I dont even see the film happening in general at all…

Really controversial subject matter, dont think Pitt would necessarily be up for a relgious themed film…. & I dont even see him in such a role he was good in Troy he did well, but this is a different beast far more complicated & controversial

I don't think that he will commit to this one, as he's been involved in that Captain Nemo movie "20 leagues under the sea" with Fincher behind the camera… who knows maybe that will happen later since Fincher might be doin' another "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" movie and in the scanario maybe he will do this one… And 'hey' wasn't he already involved in Candy Man with Denzel Washington and in "The Tiger" and also in "The Gray Man" … Maybe most of this movie will end up being produced by his Plan B comp.

Do they not know that the so-called letters of Potius speaking of this mythical Jesus person were proved to be frauds and he never spoke or even knew of this Jesus(although the letter J was not even in existence at that time anyway)

Brad can't pull-off accents, he can't do sandal films, and Pitt was out of his league in Troy. This is just ridiculous.

I don't think he had a bad year in 2012. He worked away on projects that will see the light of day in 2013, as is the tendency of actors – they disappear for a year and then they're in everything. Take Joseph Gordon Levitt for 2012 or Scoot McNairy… And Killing Them Softly may have failed to set the boxoffice alight but it was a damn fine film with a mighty strong performance from Pitt. Not too shabby.

It's strange that although Killing Them Softly didn't do well compared to how wide it was released on it's opening weekend, it's still considered a "massive bomb" and a "disaster". The film had a $15 million dollar budget and has made over $35 million so far. Almost $15 million of that $35 million gross was domestic. So, maybe a slight disappointment? Against it's modest budget (for a Brad Pitt film, anyway) the film has been far from a "bomb".

He has the hair to play Jesus but Pilate has always been depicted w/ short hair a la Julius Caesar. I just might root for Pitt to take the role if only to see him get a haircut & shave.
