You can call every white/European person on the planet an evil racist if you wish – doesn’t make it true.
How about a really novel idea ? Yes, I know it will be SO tough, but why don’t you put women and minorities into NEW roles. NEW scripts. Ones that are … dare we say – good ? That might start to redress the rotten past. Instead of dressing them up in same old shtick (now THAT is racist) , give them something good to do. The writers and producer’s are out there. The talent is there. They just don’t (for the most part) get backing if it is new and original.
Sorry – Will Smith is NOT the answer.
