Hints that the comic, anime, genre deserves the recognition for the award season. I thought Steve Jobs movie suck. This had been a problem with the oscars and the globes. It always the movies that are shown at the end of the year get nominated leaving all other movie early in the year and summer time overlooked. The Academy Awards need be shaken up and start nominating Avengers age of ultron or Spectre. I love to see if they get nominated for best picture. Should add a new category for voice acting.

Yeah the Martian should mak a lot in Chia seeing as they\’re the country that saves the day in the film. They eat that stuff up when anything Chia related pops up in a film. In fact, that is partially what mad Skyfall a hit there was because they shot some in Shang and the local cut of the film even had extra Shang footage!

Man it sucks about Steve Jobs not making money. I saw the film at the last showing Thursday before they pulled it from my theaters. And I have to say it is easily my favorite film of the year so far. I hope the bad box office doesn\’t influence the award season. It deserves a bunch.

$500m world wide is a foregone conclusion for The Martian. It\’s having strong holds internationally as well as in the US and hasn\’t opened in either China or Japan. $550 looks like the floor.
