I can see the greenlight exec : "It's a sexy, environmentalist occult retelling of the Noah story as envisioned by a god-hating atheist! It can't lose, I tell ya! Plus, did I mention we got Russell Crowe to play Noah? What casting! Oy vey, counting the money we are!"

Where do they find people stupid enough to see a move like this even in the first week? Some people you really can fool all of the time.
