Jersey Boys was absolutely one of the best movie musicals I have seen. It didn't have any high priced A- list stars, maybe that hurt it some, but the singing was authentic and the story was based on real life experiences of the original 4 Seasons! That made it a hit for me!

Kevin Heart wins at the box office not just because he's black, it's because he's funny and appeals to a global audience. It's no secret African Americans have set the standard which has directly influenced pop culture today, and corporate America agenda has always been to raid it and monetize what trends it can . The movies others are raving about, simply put doesn't interest the youth, like a twenty something gives a crap about Clint Eastwood or some flick like Rover which is a dime a dozen these days, and can be downloaded for free off the internet.

edge of tomorrow has such a great word of mouth. every body saying its best movie of the summer. so i am really excited to see this original piece

The Rover was well received at Cannes and is Fresh on RT, it's an impressive film and people who miss it in theaters will be sorry in the long run. Given it's dark subject matter, it was never going to be a blockbuster.

Up against mindless entertainment like 22 Jump Street and Think Like a Man, I'm not surprised it isn't drawing a big crowd. It requires a good amount of thought, but it's well worth the time.

Anyone who thinks the Twilight crowd would be drawn to such a bleak, thoughtful film is just kidding themselves. That audience went to Maleficent or The Fault in Our Stars, duh, they like romantic fairy tales, not harsh reality.

Yeah with a budget of 12 million and only making a half of million, The Rover is a bomb. I personally did not like it at all and see it as this years Only God Forgives. I think the studio could win some of the Twilight audience based on Pattinson alone. Apparently not.
