The former agents who create a new organization to oppose IMF represent the former Scientologists. They try to take down the organization that created them, or the Church of Scientology. The leader of the defectors puts Cruise literally in a box, but Cruise has his revenge by doing the same thing back to that guy at the end. The female lead looks suspiciously similar to Katie Holmes. Her allegiance through the whole movie is suspect, but Cruise\’s character has no hard feelings towards her in the end because "she was just playing her part". Cruise\’s character is unpredictable throughout the film, and of course, this is all a stratagem, because Cruise was in control the whole time. This movie makes me much more interested in this feud between Cruise and the Scientologist defectors.
