Hahah, that\’s exactly the type of crowd you would want to sneak a film like this past. Bawdy over-the-top sexual humor to engage them and get them on your side, then fix the liberal subtext in where they\’re not expecting it.

I don\’t know if liberal is the right word. This movie was an ashtray sticky with spilt mountain dew and the guy next to me was chewing tobacco the entire time.

This is the first rated R comic book movie with a liberal subtext. All the other ones have had conservative ones, and obviously don\’t have the marketing muscle to push their product as well. It makes sense that Deadpool would be the vehicle for the liberals to colonize this ground.
