pretty much all books written about celebs are unauthorized and pretty much unaccurate and based on tabloids and the writers pure speculation which is why i dont even know why ppl buy them none the less believe them

None of the so-called biographies written about Johnny Depp have been written with Johnny\’s cooperation as far as Johnny meeting with the author and giving the author information to include in the book. There are dozens of biographies on Johnny, and all of them are written using information found in past interviews or interviews with people who have met or worked with Johnny. The photos included in the books are standard photos that you can find on any Depp fan site or anywhere on the Internet. Much of these books are based on the author\’s own opinions, and have nothing to do with fact.

I read the original book by this author about Depp & have no desire to read his \”updated\” version. This guy doesn\’t have a CLUE about Depp or his acting ability & interjects his personal dislike of Depp and/or Depp\’s choices throughout. He knows what name will sell his book, so don\’t shell out the $$ for this piece of garbage. If you want a book on Depp, either wait for him to write his autobiography, or get the book by Christopher Heard. Just a note: Depp\’s performance in The Tourist was very well done & appropriate—reminded me of my own bumbling journeys in other countries.
