Excluding The Artist I think their 2011 line up is pretty weak and could use some Wettest County.

Filming only started in February. It could be released for end of year but don\’t be surprised if just gets a quiet Oscar run for the industry and then a wider 2012 release to follow.

Otherwise, yeah, they\’ll hold for next Oscar season like they did with The Road. If they were interested in making this a contender it would be somewhere in the fall film festival circuit. Sure hope Hillcoat knows what he\’s doing working with these dudes again.

If not, they will more than likely have to sit on it until Oscar time next year, which would suck. But then again, Hillcoat\’s The Road was pushed back time and time again. My guess is, if they are currently locking guys in for the soundtrack, it should be near completion.
